Hi-Tech Scavenger Hunts
September 1, 2007 6:03 am ActivitiesThis one is an idea for a scavenger hunt for a group of hi-tech kids.
Needed:
- up to 12 players (assuming the following hardware setup)
- 4 teams of 2 or 3 each
- a internet enabled computer for each team (4 port hubs are cheap and you could get friends to loan you laptops or easy to move desktops)
- list of research questions
Give each team the list and leave them to do the research necessary to come up with the correct answers. Keep the questions on topics of interest to the age group. For younger players you could give them the links. The older ones can use Google or Wikipedia, etc.
Give everyone a strict time deadline. Any problems with them stopping? Just unplug the router!
Points and winners as per usual scavenger hunt rules.
